Consumer Poll 2010

Important information regarding the 2010 Eastern Bay Energy Trust consumer poll.

Voting packs will be delivered to consumers of electricity within the Eastern Bay Energy Trust district from Wednesday 13 January 2010.

A voting pack will be issued to the consumer named on the power account. This means that although more than one person may be named as a consumer of power, only one voting document will be issued to that consumer (according to the Trust Deed).

If a consumer (with the same name on the power account) has multiple connections, that consumer's entitlement (according to the Trust Deed), is up to a maximum of five voting packs.

If a consumer does not receive their voting pack by Tuesday 19 January 2010, or ruins their voting document, they should call the Electoral Office on 0800 922 822 for a special vote to be posted out.

It is recommended that voting documents be posted not later than Tuesday 2 February 2010 to reach the Electoral Office before the close of voting at 12 noon, 5 February 2010.

Completed voting documents can be hand delivered to a ballot box, and special voting documents issued, weekdays between 8.30am - 4.30pm from Wednesday 13 January 2010 to Thursday 4 February 2010, and between 8.30am - 12 noon on Friday 5 February 2010, at the

Eastern Bay Energy Trust office, 5 Richardson Street, Whakatane

or

Independent Election Services Ltd, Ground Floor, Bledisloe House, 24 Wellesley Street, Auckland.
